About The Band

Artax are a Glasgow based Synthwave, Prog/Metal, Dark Pop four-piece consisting of Katie Wills on lead vocals, keys and lyrics, Callum Warrender on lead guitar, synths and production, Ellis Sparks on bass and backing vocals and Bob Irving on drums. With a variety of styles consisting of ambient and atmospheric but powerful vocals, shredding melodic guitar solos, catchy 80s Pop Revival vibes as well as some heavier elements including metal, Djent and even some classic 80s Rock-Artax have combined several styles that match up so well together. Artax are on a mission to revive that classic 80s Synthwave vibe and bring a blend of underground styles to the forefront of the Scottish music scene.
